File path defaults to users profile when saving new document

Issue #
1019627299e25370b
Category
Status

Issue with files being saved to the users profile (AppData\Local\Temp) when the user creates a new document. Steps to reproduce: Start new exam, fill in candidate details File -> New "Do you wish to use all existing candidate details" -> select either, it happens with both File -> Save File path shows as being saved in C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp\ I have various tweaks to registry/group policy to lock the computer down, but none should affect saving in the specified path. The save path is on a separate partition (E:\), which may be causing this. Saving files normally works fine, this is only an issue when creating a new file after having started another. If you need to look at my log files send me an email and I can provide these, though the errors I can find in the log are: Invalid/unavaliable DefaultSavePath: E:\Saves DefaultSavePath diverted to: C:\Users\Exam\AppData\Local\Temp\ CurrentFile_Invalid = E:\Saves\04-05-2022-15-25-00.Examtext
