v24.05.01.1200

What’s New/Fixed?

FIXED: WJEC/EDUQAS coversheets have been restored based on confirmation that they require them for none-scribes (JCQ Form 4) and scribes (JCQ Form 2). Make sure ‘PrintCoverSheet’ has been enabled in the ExamWritePadSettings.json file.

FIXED: Pressing the F2 would only launch the PDF Reader in fullscreen when the focus was on the document. Also Press F2 again, while in fullscreen returns the PDF Reader back to normal viewing which didn’t happen before.

FIXED: Removed underscore characters from being read out aloud in the PDF Reader.

FIXED: Having ‘Disable_WindowsKeys’ turned on would stop you from using the Windows Dictation, you can now use both

FIXED: Previous version history wouldn’t show any selected backups or modified date times.

FIXED: In fullscreen mode if printing to PDF, the dialog window that pops up to specify a filename disappeared behind the ExamWritePad window and cannot return. Printing to PDF has now been restored to previous versions of ExamWritePad where the document is saved directly to the ‘DefaultSavePath’.

FIXED: Hitting Undo many times would eventually remove the header and footer information from the document.

FIXED: Commandline printing app now supports older and newer ExamText file formats, headers and footers etc.

ADDED: The currently loaded config file name now appears on the Help tab, click on it will disclose the full path to the config file. This will help when trying to find out quickly which config is being used.

ADDED: ‘ForceSave’ option (when enabled) now upon exit with either force you to save a never before saved file or if the file was saved previously, automatically save the file without asking the user to do so.

ADDED: You can now underline the header information on each document, using the config option ‘Header_Underline’.

ADDED: You can now tab space each item of the header information (Separated by a | symbol), using the config option ‘Header_TabbedItems’.

ADDED: You can included the header title text description of each item, for example, Centre Number: 12345, “Centre Number:” being the text title description. Just use the config option ‘Header_TextTitles’.

Also included in the config are the following title defaults:

Header_Title_Name = “Candidate Name: “

Header_Title_CentreNum = “Centre Number: “

Header_Title_CandidateNumber = “Candidate Number: “

Header_Title_ExamBoard = “Exam Board: “
